Workshop | Art, Play, and Participation

This workshop explores the connections between art, education, and play culture, tracing influences from 19th-century pedagogical toys to 20th-century art. Participants will delve into the contributions of artists, architects, and educators in creating playful experiences, including the history of playgrounds and the politicization of play in Latin American cultural movements. Each session features a collective creative experience led by artist Gui Teixeira. Registration is required and recommended for ages 16 and up.
