PQD "Encounter 05 - MemOrí Dance Company"

Founded in 2023 at SP Escola de Dança, MemOrí Dance Company is a collective of Black artists investigating identity, territory, and memory. Their project "Sankofa Banzo" (VAI 2023) led to the workshop "Corporeidade da Revolta" and the show "Migalho," which explores plural Blackness. The initiative also produced 19 videoperformances documenting the scenic investigations and corporealities of the participants.
