Baal - The Myth of the Flesh

Teatro do Incêndio celebrates 30 years with a revival of its first production, "Baal - The Myth of the Flesh," by Bertolt Brecht. Directed by Marcelo Marcus Fonseca, the play explores humanity's primitive essence, rejecting societal norms and delving into desires without guilt. Featuring 12 artists and live music, the performance presents Brecht's cynical and nihilistic humor in a cabaret-like atmosphere, alongside a poignant love triangle and a dialectical discussion on empathy. An "Esquenta Baal" pre-show is offered for early ticket holders.
