Founded in 2023 at SP Escola de Dança, MemOrí Dance Company is a collective of Black artists investigating identity, territory, and memory. Their project "Sankofa Banzo" (VAI 2023) resulted in the "Corporeidade da Revolta" workshop and the "Migalho" performance, exploring plural Blackness. The initiative also produced 19 video performances documenting their scenic investigations and the participants' corporealities.
