The 17th International Live Library Seminar explores the evolving role of contemporary libraries as vibrant spaces for community engagement and social transformation. Under the theme "Green libraries: socio-environmental awareness and citizen action," this edition will reflect on their urgent strategic role as agents of environmental and social change. The event, recognized as a key forum for promoting reading and public policy debate in Brazil, will gather specialists, professionals, and researchers from around the world for discussions, panels, and presentations. It takes place from June 9-11, 2026, with activities at Centro de Convenções Rebouças, Biblioteca de São Paulo (BSP), and Biblioteca Parque Villa-Lobos (BVL).
