The Monteiro Lobato Library offers a free Braille Language Course, Module I, providing basic notions of the Braille system for reading and writing. Starting August 24th, this three-month course is aimed at educators, students, professionals, and visually impaired adults aged 16 and over. It seeks to train education professionals and support visually impaired students in regular schooling. Registration for the 12 available spots is through the city's cultural activities website.
