Story Time - Enchanted Knowledge, with Maiara Astarte

"Saberes Encantados" is a storytelling event featuring three traditional indigenous narratives: Cobra Grande (Boiúna), Uirapuru, and Mandioca. This playful, sensory, and participatory experience is designed for children, families, and the general public. Orality is central to the proposal, highlighting its role in the formation of the Portuguese language in Brazil through dialogue with indigenous languages and ancestral storytelling methods. The event aligns with the mission of the Museum of the Portuguese Language by valuing listening, cultural diversity, and various ways of telling stories.
