When Night Falls

Melânia, a seemingly happy Black girl, is part of an inseparable group of friends. Despite this, she sometimes feels lonely and sad because she doesn't physically identify with any of her peers. When alone, she confides in her recorder, and during one of these heartfelt outpourings, something unexpected emerges.
