Yawanawá Culture Research - Akueran Institute

This project originated from research conducted in the Rio Gregório Indigenous Territory (AC) with Yawanawá elders, teachers, leaders, and families. Its goal was to document and strengthen knowledge related to their traditional language, ancestral stories, songs, graphic arts, food, and other cultural wisdom of this Amazonian indigenous people. The event will present the research results, an educational booklet, a digital portal, and the journey undertaken to build this significant cultural record.
